Farmer Markets and Craft Shows

Where has the summer gone?!  I haven't even stopped shedding from the spring and already the leaves are changing.  Farmer Market season is over and here comes the Holiday craft show season.  We've made lots of new friends at the market and I look forward to them sending in some photos wearing Emma Bean Design badanas.  Check out some of my new buddies

The Holidays are a great time to celebrate with your bestest doggie friends.  Be sure to pick up some bandanas to help them get in the spirit!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

So I've been much too busy enjoying doggie birthday cake, extra special treats and play dates at doggie day care to update my blog, but here are pictures from my 5th birthday party on September 20th.  It was 4 years ago on Monday that I was united with my family and they took me home from the shelter.  I was a happy dog that day!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

If you are looking for a doggie birthday cake for your pup, my favorites are from The Dog & Cat in Essex, VT.

I also want to send out some special bday wishes to my friends and family.  I share my birthday with my Grammy who turned 50 this year and my good friend Ashley in Boston who turned 29!!  Happy Birthday!!

Bandanas and more at Teddy Roosevelt Day

Tomorrow is Teddy Roosevelt Day up in Isle LaMotte.  They celebrate Teddy each year in September to commemorate when he came to visit in 1901 as Vice President of the United States.  It was during this weekend that President McKinley was shot and Teddy was summoned back to Washington to be sworn in as the next President.  Teddy Roosevelt is one of my favorite Presidents.  Did you know the Teddy Bear was named after him?

I've been to a couple Teddy Roosevelt Days and they are always full of fun and activity.  Mommy will be selling my bandanas at the Farmer Market and there is sure to be apple picking, corn maze, tractor rides and more.  Hope to see you there!

Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs

Today was the big event for selling my goodies to dog friends just like myself.  Everyone headed out to the Shelburne Musesum for the 10th annual Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs show.  There were over 80 vendors and 100's of dogs.  The day was a good success and luckily the weather held out.  Mommy gave me these pictures to share with everyone.  Since Mommy needed to concentrate on the selling, I had to stay home, but my good friend Chole was able to attend in my place to be a model for the bandanas.  Everyone thought she was so cute, which she is!  Even my friend Maggie showed up for the event.

Mommy loves to take photos of white dogs.  This reminds her of her passed dog Pickles.  I never met Pickles, but always hear good stories

Mommy knows I like to represent my pitty friends.  Check out these characters!

Here are some Jack Russell friends that Maggie met.

Chole was a great spokes-dog for Beany Dog Bandanas; excellent customer service!!!

Here are pictures of Mommy's vision.  Isn't it great what she's done with my product?   (is that Daddy hiding in the back??)

Dog Show Prep

Mommy and Grammy spend all of yesterday crafting and baking for the big event, Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs.  I did my best to help, but mostly wanted attention as I have not seen my family in almost a week after being away at Summer Camp.

Here I am picking some of the material to use for my famous bandanas.

Sewing, Baking and More...

These treats are to die for...I really mean it.  They are so good, I can't help myself.  I beg and Mommy gets upset.

Art Hop

Checked out the South Burlington Art Hop last night.  I especially liked the art and atmosphere at Dog Play Dog, a local doggie daycare.  Here are some of my faves.

These ones were painted by elementary school kids to raise money for the same Human Society that I was adopted from.  Mommy wanted to buy one, but no one was around to give information.

Both Mommy and I really liked the artist.  I think for Christmas, she might give him a call and see if a portrait of moi can be painted!
